Tamiflu is an antiviral drug. It works by attacking the flu virus to keep it from multiplying in your body and by reducing the symptoms of the flu. Tamiflu can also sometimes keep you from getting the flu if you take it before you get sick.
Tamiflu is used to treat and reduce symptoms caused by the flu virus (influenza). It helps make the symptoms (such as stuffy nose, cough, sore throat, fever/chills, aches, tiredness) less severe and shortens the recovery time by 1-2 days.
People suffering from the flu are more susceptible to getting other illnesses because their immune system has been compromised.
Take Generic Tamiflu when you have symptoms of influenza (flu) or if there is influenza virus outbreak in your home, workplace or community.
