Metrogel (Metronidazole 1%)
Metrogel (metronidazole) is used on the skin to treat a certain skin disorder known as rosacea, a type of adult acne. It may help to decrease redness, swelling and the number of pimples caused by rosacea.
What is in Metrogel?
Metrogel contains Metronidazole USP, 1%. It is an FDA Approved, nitroimidazole indicated for the topical treatment of inflammatory lesions of rosacea and acne.

It is applied to lower the swelling and redness caused by Rosacea.

First, cleanse the area you wish to treat. Apply and rub a thin later once daily to affected area or as indicated by your Doctor or Healthcare Provider.
Cosmetics and Sun Block may be applies after application.
