What is Zanaflex Generic?

Zanaflex contains Tizanidine to treat muscle spasms or muscle spasticity. It relaxes your muscles, making them less stiff. It is a type of medicine called a muscle relaxant.

Use for Zanaflex Generic

Take this medication by mouth with water. Take it as directed on the prescription label. You can take it with or without food. You should always take it the same way.

Keep taking this medication unless your care team tells you to stop. Stopping it too quickly can cause serious side effects.

Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. You may need to take special care.

Patients over 65 years of age may have a stronger reaction and need a smaller dose.

Hallucinations

Liver damage can cause upper right abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and feeling sick. Additional symptoms might encompass light-colored stool, dark yellow or brown urine, and a yellowish tint to the skin or eyes. Liver damage can also induce an unusual sense of fatigue or weakness.

Low blood pressure—dizziness, feeling faint or lightheaded, blurry vision
