Warfarin
Warfarin tablets are a class of drugs called ‘anticoagulants’ or blood thinners. It helps prevent and treat blood clots. Warf is the generic version of Coumadin.
It is used for blood clots in leg veins and blood clots in the lungs. Doctors also use Warf-1mg to prevent blood clots in patients with atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat).
Doctors also use it to reduce the risk of clots in patients who have undergone knee or hip replacement surgeries.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as possible. However, if you are close to the time of taking your next dose then wait and return to your regular schedule. Do not double dose.
